The rapid development of technology is having an effect on the processes of communication and collaboration in society, which requires the transformation of education and training of the citizen of the digital society. This article presents European experience in the transformation of education, in particular an analysis of legislative initiatives in Ukraine and Poland in the field of digital society formation. The authors look at world trends and educational trends which are considered as part of the modernization and digitization of the education system of the two countries. A survey was carried out, in the international project Erasmus + K2 MoPED, on current educational trends, educational technologies and their impact on the digital competence of students. The study showed a high level of interest among students in the presented educational trends, which shows the need to build students’ digital competence. The authors demonstrate the effect of the absence or lack of digital skills on the citizen's overall life chances. The article deals with the influence of the type of intelligence on the learning process, presents students’ new educational needs, highlights innovative pedagogical technologies and methods that will allow us to take into account educational trends and follow the modern requirements for digital transformation of education

The question of the changes in red blood cells metabolism markers based on the pathogenetic features the course of traumatic disease in polytrauma remains open and relevant. Objective of this study was to evaluate changes in the functional state of red blood cells during hypoxia in patients with traumatic disease.  A prospective randomized controlled clinical trial was carried out on 120 patients on the basis of the Polytrauma department. The main markers of the functional state of red blood cells (lactate, pyruvate, 2.3-diphosphoglyceric acid, ATP) were determined by spectrophotometric method. We have revealed that the course of the acute and early periods of traumatic disease is accompanied by changes in the functional state of red blood cells. This is evidenced by a decrease in ATP level and an increase in the levels of lactate, 2,3-DFH and lactate/pyruvate index. We have established a relationship between the markers of the functional state of red blood cells at the time of admission and the development of infectious complications, posthemorrhagic anemia, posttraumatic nephropathy.

The importance of modern schools in developing students’problem-solving skills, including through digital tools, is described in thearticle, which includes the development of basic coding skills and digitalliteracy, as well as the ability to solve problems and make decisions basedon planning and analysis of situations. Computational thinking (CT)is built on the foundation of these abilities. The authors contend thatthe employment of specialized digital tools promotes the development ofcomputational thinking and that purposeful creation of computationalthinking improves teachers’ and students’ digital competence. The con-cept of CT, as well as existing definitions and components, are examinedin this article. A list of courses from various countries’ curriculum onwhich CT is studied in primary school is provided. The importance ofCT as a fundamental talent for everyone is underlined, and it should bedeveloped through the integration of several disciplines to solve prob-lems. The link between the CT components and the key competenciesthat should be instilled in kids as part of the primary education curricu-lum. The findings of a survey of more than 60 primary school teachersfrom various regions of Ukraine about their understanding of the con-cept of computational thinking and their experience in the developmentof skills related to all components of computational thinking in primaryschool students are presented. A review of open educational resourcesfrom around the world is offered to assist teachers in enhancing stu-dents’ CT skills. The strategy for putting the CT development conceptinto practice for future teachers and primary school teachers is offered, taking into account the ability to employ specific digital tools

The paper aims to determine the stages and conditions of the creation of academic communities of university teachers for the introduction of innovative pedagogical technologies, using Inquiry-Based Learning (IBL), to highlight the experience of creating such a community at the Borys Grinchenko Kyiv University (BGKU). Researchers have analyzed the organization of professional communities, the impact of their activities on the quality of education and improving the professional level of teachers. The paper contains the research of the practical aspects of the creation and organization of the work of an educational community of teachers, a set of theoretical (analysis and synthesis of Ukrainian and foreign scientific, pedagogical, methodological sources on research issues) and empirical (primary and repeated questioning of teachers of higher education institutions and teachers of secondary education institutions) were the methods used, as well as an analysis of the results obtained. The article demonstrates the impact of teachers` network functioning on teachers’ professional activities and implementing IBL in mathematics teaching. It is revealed how participation in the community influences the use of innovative pedagogical methods of teaching mathematics. Teachers from BGKU and other universities were involved in the survey, which had a total of 72 respondents. The survey results were comprehensively analyzed and presented their graph interpretation. This article describes of some theoretical and practical aspects of the development of academic communities of university teachers for the introduction of innovative pedagogical technologies, using IBL at the educational institutions, where the staff work, research and collectively take steps to improve the learning process and research. It is revealed how participation in the community influences the use of innovative pedagogical methods in the teaching of mathematics

In the era of the Internet when information is placed, processed and stored in the Internet in the form of Internet resources the ability to estimate consumed Internet resources before using them for personal needs or educational aims becomes of great importance. The article analyses competences required for critical evaluation of Internet resources. The research was conducted where 54 future primary school teachers - Master’s Degree students of specialty “Primary education” at Borys Grinchenko Kyiv University - took part. In the process of the research the following data was determined: the level of future primary school teachers’ awareness of cybersecurity events arranged at country level; the most effective means of information distribution on cybersecurity provision; primary school subjects which can be used to form pupils skills of Internet resources evaluation; utilization of methods and technologies for developing skills of Internet resources critical evaluation. Education programs and educational activity styles aimed at formation of Internet resources critical evaluation skills were analyzed. The case study on creating a lesson or a project using learning styles by D. Laurillard was designed. The model of formation of Internet resources critical evaluation skills system for future primary school teachers was designed

In this chapter, we learn that an educational community was formed at the university, including colleagues from several universities, to address low motivation of students in choosing mathematics programmes and to share understandings of IBME. This Community of Inquiry (CoI) addressed issues related to conceptual versus procedural learning approaches drawing on a range of literature. PLATINUM members led the CoI in suggesting inquiry-based approaches to teaching and learning and one member led a course in Mathematical Analysis to enable the community to observe and address processes and issues. An open questioning approach was taken by this teacher with encouragement for students to address the questions and to ask their own questions. Extracts from the teaching and examples of students’ responses suggested that teaching had motivated students and engaged their interest, thus also motivating the CoI to engage further with IBME approaches
